The main aspect of the episode is the song " Grim Grinning Ghosts" which originated in The Haunted Mansion ride.

After that, Mickey is being held up by the Lonesome Ghosts to introduce them the final cartoon. The Hitchhikers return to the stage and finish their song, to rapturous applause. The Lonesome Ghosts return, skipping around him, pulling down his underwear making him naked and he runs away, again. He runs up and kisses it, but it disintegrates and she becomes a rotting corpse. There, the bride is extending her hand towards him. The skeletons do their skeleton dance with him, and he hides in a crypt, where the Hitchhikers lock him inside.

He runs away, into a demon eyed wallpaper then he sees 3 ghost faces and goes to another set of graves. Pete jumps back, right in front of the Executioner who's ready to scare the daylights out of Pete and has tea with the Hitchhiking Ghosts. When he turns around, the Hatbox Ghost is there, waiting for him.

The Lonesome Ghosts skip around him, making him jump behind a gravestone. He opens a crate labeled “Hitchhiking Ghosts”. Ezra, Phineas, and Gus come onto the stage and sing "Grim Grinning Ghosts".

Meanwhile, Pete decides to get his revenge by scaring everyone silly after nobody found his costume scary. After Hansel and Gretel was shown, Mickey shows Hades his bloopers reel was shown on the big screen, humiliating him so badly that he tortures his minion's Pain and Panic. Suddenly, Donald tries very hard to impress the Magic Mirror by asking if his costume is good. It's Halloween at the House of Mouse and Mickey who’s dressed up like a vampire, gets the House of Mouse all set for their Halloween festivties including a costume contest, which includes Timon and Pumbaa dressing up like Donald and Mickey.
